Beck Cottage is a recently refurbished and extended 18th Century thatched cottage. It is located on a private lane with no passing traffic and with a very beautiful 0.5 acre garden with its own stream, summerhouse and large trampoline. The cottage is centrally positioned in the heart of this thriving New Forest village, only a couple of minutes walk to the best village store and post office in the National Park and a 5 minute walk to the Horse and Groom in Woodgreen. In the other direction, up the lane, within minutes you will find yourself on the village green and the cricket wicket and then out into the heart of the National Park. There really could not be a better located New Forest cottage for both convenience and ease of access to the New Forest National Park.
This picture perfect cottage, comprises a lounge with large wood burner and beamed ceiling, a separate dining room with a large table and seating for up to 14, a large kitchen/ diner with all the usual appliances including further seating for up to 7, a conservatory and a ground floor double bedroom with en-suite wet room. On the first floor, there is a master bedroom with a kingsize bed and en-suite shower room (and a secret staircase!), a twin bedroom with basin, a double bedroom, a family bathroom (with corner bath and separate shower) and separate toilet. On the second floor, there is a further double bedroom and another twin bedroom There is also a Shepherds hut in the garden with garden shower room that sleeps 2, enabling accommodation up to 14 adults. Over the double carport, there is also an extensive games room with a full-size table tennis table and table football, for those wet days when perhaps the National Park is not quite so appealing. In the garden there is a climbing frame and trampoline.

The first basket of logs for the wood burner in the lounge is free and then £7.50 per bag thereafter
Facilities and Services: Oil fired central heating and electricity included. Travel cot, 2 high chairs and stairgates available on request (but please bring own cot bedding), dogs welcome, fully enclosed garden (not secure for small dogs) with patio and barbecue area. Bookings are Friday to Friday for 7 night stays, Friday to Monday for weekend stays, and Monday to Friday for mid-week stays. We can be flexible though so please contact us if you would like any other check in days.
There is a £250 refundable security deposit to ensure against damage, pets are charged at £40 each and towels are included
